I love vegan documentaries!  I recently discovered Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead by Joe Cross.  It's about Joe Cross, who is a super-successful business man, who had gained a lot of extra weight and with that, a myriad of health issues.  He goes on a juice fast for 60 days and sheds over 80 pounds, clears up his health issues, and gets off medications.  Along the way he inspired a morbidly obese truck driver to give the juice fast a try with unbelievable results.  My husband and I immediately decided to incorporate green juice into our lives, just to get a nutrient boost.  I went online and ordered a Breville Juicer.  As soon at it arrived we started juicing.  The juicer comes with a recipe booklet, but I just juice whatever organic greens are on sale at Whole Foods or New Seasons Market, in season at my local Farmer's Market, or available at Costco, and then throw in a piece of organic fruit.  I've had success with juicing kale, spinach, romaine, mixed greens, broccoli, parsley, cilantro, cucumber, carrots, apples, pears, lemons, and oranges.
